Wireframes

This is the wireframe I made for the new Backpacker Magazine website design. This project required me to learn new terminology and engage my creative problem-solving skills. You can find the presentation detailing the changes I proposed for the website here.

I made this with Microsoft Word.

One of the web projects I did required me to create a false persona for a blog. We were given a list of characters and told to choose one and create a website for them. If mine seems familiar, it's because I chose the off-brand Holden Caulfied. This is the About page for the site I made.

I wrote this in Microsoft Word and then published it to a WordPress website.

Napkin at a Cafe was a practice in designing a rough draft for a website. This document shows the process of considering the purpose of the site, the intended audience, the navigation setup, and the original design concepts.

This project was done in Microsoft Word.

The finished version of the Persona Website. The purpose of the site was to serve as both a shop and a blog. This site required me to put my visual and written communication skills to the test. It also required me to utilize my planning, organizing, and audience analysis skills. I had to generate original web content in order to create the website. It required me to utilize my creative writing skills in order to fabricate interviews between my persona and other characters.

I made this website using WordPress.

For one of my classes, I was required to choose a website to redesign.  Unbound Worlds is a site owned by Penguin Random House that I have always felt to be too cluttered and spaced out. I created a replacement design using Wordpress. It required visual and written communication, planning, organizing, and an understanding of website building sites. I utilized my creative skills to generate original web content for the site.
